A few words about The Independent Reflector

History, reason, and the classics—all fantastic and all fairly well neglected today. Those are the things I love and even when the topic at hand is none of the aforementioned, you can rest assured that the writing here will be informed by one if not all.

As for the more pressing question, I don’t really know. Right now it’s a work in progress that’s receiving what may be the world’s slowest face-lift—two months and counting, which is probably not a record to be proud of. When it’s all said and done things will hopefully be more streamlined and blog-y with regular updates.

What’s more important than “what” is “why,” as in why read this as opposed to that? I hate to answer a question with another question, but where else are you going to find ways to distill your hand sanitizer of choice, a comparison of Islam and Mormonism, and a celebration of Facebook’s true heroes all in one place?
